Uhm…what should I say now? Ah, this video is our last assignment in Tinjauan Multimedia I, and we got a topic about geological museum. In that place, the museum was divided into 3 big parts, pre historic life, meteorite stone[?], and humankind history.

The step here…

-          We got to go to the museum, and took many pictures. Hey now, the security man there were nice though…and there were sooo many interesting places too.

-          Because it’s kinda impossible to shoot prehistoric life or anything from past, we used many references from internet…thanks for Internet God wherever you are…>w<

-          Recording the sound for the grandpa’s voice in our video.

-          Edit, edit and edit this and that in computer.

If I could say…we’re kind of in a hurry…naah, day by day were passing so quickly, isn’t it?

Eventhough He gave us a longer time to do this, it just feel…what? I’m confused too to explain it… =_=

Maybe this is not the best video, but we were working quite hard to finish this, so… I’m happee now! Yeeey~~

Our second works… this is the snapshot from video compositing that I talked about earlier.

The title was “Boni and Bear”, works done with After Effect [for editing, as usual], 3ds max, Illustrator and Photoshop.

Summary:

This is a story about dream. Dream that you never dreamed of before. A dream that possessed by a girl named Bonita. One day, when she was falling peacefully into slumber, an unexpected and dazzling experience waiting for her [I exaggerate a bit ].  There, suddenly a flat teddy bear came out from her bedcover, and taking her for finishing some things that happened in his land. The things that caused by herself, and only Bonita can fix it…” [lol]

Oalah lah lah… now the time for Multimedia’s new task… compositing video.

I’ve tied up in a group with Eve and Tama. That dorky lovey-dovey couple >w<

In this new task, our lecturer said that we must compositing two different video. Instead of video, we decided to compositing animation with video *refers to Roger Rabbit’s movie*. Thanks to Mr. Hafiz for showing us this movie, it has become our muse so much.

Style that Evelyn and I have had agreed, and we choose the middle one. But I have not asked Tama yet.

The story itself were about a fantasy genre, and the story feels mushy, surreal and childish, started when a child* could you tell Bonita were still a child? * that absorbed into her bedcover world, and the residence were suffering because one thing happens. Then she repaired that… well, like that… I’ll report again someday.

Here’s the Artemisia Vulgaris Concept, and Video.

I didn’t use the-oh-so-called-advanced-skill too much and just concentrated on masking, transform, opacity, and such. I admitted masking is interesting, but try to say that when suddenly you electricity were run out and I haven’t even saved it *blah*. And what is all this pother about? That’s not the case, pardon, it became a habit to blabbering about unnecessary things… hello the earth to me~

the basic technique here:
- masking – nah, the electricity things were traumatized me a bit… so from now on, I’ll saving my project every 5 minutes >w< *paranoia syndrome*
- transform (rotation, position, scale, opacity) – thanks for opacity-san, you make my day bright as a sunshine~
- path text – really, there’s too much option for the animation, stuck in my own mused brain
- what else? That’s enough maybe… since I cannot remembered all :p

For the instrumental: [Kajiura Yuki] FICTION – 06 Red Rose

From that kind of music, I supposed to make a movement that free from rigid or traditional fetters, and such. It’s like flowing, fast but not that much beating, like that. The music length originally was 00.04.36, and I mutilated it with Audacity.

Works rendered finally, but the .avi version has a little problem. The movement and the music didn’t cooperated well, so I had saved it in .mp4 smaller *teeny weeny itsy* version. Maybe next time I’ll use the tricks that my friend taught me, finishing it with Windows Movie Maker.

Well, I’m kinda not in my best mood when doing this task, eh, mid life crisis? *snort*

I have feeling that the result of this after effect thing didn’t stand out as I expected, and for now I just uploaded that I have now [for your information, I’m trying to remake again, and maybe I’ll uploaded the newer version soon, eventhough that’s just for satisfied my curiousity then]. I shall do my best to correct the mistake.

That’s for now, and like I said before, I’ll upload a newer version if it has done.

Mm, now, after we had an approvement with our lecturer for what stilated leaves that last for our motion graphic, we must compositioning those leaves with sound. Nuh uh, “compose five motion of your stilation using Adobe After Effect, masking it, n blabla, then chose five instrumental song that can be represented images of your stilation…” said he.

Blah, now I’m killing learning this software in order to finishing this task. The duration for our motion graphic at least lasted for 1 minute. I’ve had chose 5 songs for my motion. I’d like to do song that represented image of divine, calm and serene. Imagine those leaves, from a solid shape vanishing and scattering into blurriness, like autumn. For variation, I’d choose few songs that had a little faster beat.

Now stop babbling *smack myself*.

Kya kya, now, I’m trying to stilate it using Adobe Illustrator, but but, why those leaves look alike unidentified mutant alien shape object? *snort* being ungrateful brat I am, really, mocking my own works… Albeit just making fun of them. HA HA.

Anyway, it’s kinda tempting to change these leaves into weirdo shapes. I’m trying to use some colours in my stilated leaves, it looks interesting *happy*

Today, after media interaktif, evelyn , tama and me went to biology faculty.

We were searching a place named herbarium to asked about leaf’s Latin name.

There was a half old man sitting in front of tree computer *forgot to asked his name*. Damn, awesome leaf’s freak <3 He even remembered all of Latin’s name of leaf that we brought by. That make me suspicious, maybe he has some fetish with tree or plants? or actually, he used to be tarzan? btw, thanks to you, Sir whatever your name Herbarium

why leaf?

Uhh, about 3 days ago, our lecturer in Multimedia, Mr. Intan, gave us a task to do, searching for some leaves that has interesting shape, texture etc etc… and redo that leaf into some stilation for motion graphic.

So, my friends and me started a journey to the West  for searching a holy bible some leaf.
I even found a leaf named ‘makanan kambing’

GOD… what kind of name was that?! *burst into laugh*

So here i am, since 3 days ago, was trying to searching and googling ’bout this damn leaf.

It’s just my eyes or did all of these leaf has same shape?
